I Have the Honor - A Volunteer

"In 2009 I surrendered my life to Christ and it forever changed the course of my journey. God placed a calling on my heart to serve those who serve others and He has opened doors I could never have imagined. 

As a Police Chaplain, I have the honor of standing alongside our brave men and women in law enforcement, offering encouragement, prayer and the Truth of God's Word.

Coming from a family of law enforcement, I understand the unique challenges our first responders face every day. That is why leading our Saviors Through Christ bible study is one of my greatest privileges. It is a space where our first responders can gather, share openly, and be reminded that no matter the trials we face, God is our refuge and strength. 

Watching lives be touched, hearts be encouraged, and faith be renewed has been a testimony to the power of His Spirit at work within us.

I want to thank Office James for answering the call that God placed on his heart. His obedience has been a blessing to me and others. It is a reminder that when we follow God's leading, lives are transformed, hope is restored and God is glorified."

“I used to have difficulty finding time to go to church and attend bible studies due to my busy work schedule. I began to feel distant from God and needed a change. Now, with Saviors Through Christ, I can now attend bible study sessions that fit in with my work schedule, allowing me to build a closer relationship with God. Back then, it often felt like just another routine, but as I got older and started a family of my own, I came to understand the deeper meaning behind it. My father played a major role in shaping my faith, and now I strive to do the same for my own children. Working in law enforcement makes it difficult to attend church consistently with my family, but joining Saviors Through Christ and participating in multiple Bible study sessions has helped me grow tremendously in my faith. It’s also given me a deeper understanding of scripture. My son and I now share weekly conversations about our experiences with God — a bond that mirrors the one I had with my father. It’s been a powerful and meaningful connection for both of us.” 

“Before Saviors Through Christ, I had never been to a bible study. I recently had the desire to learn more about scripture and become closer to God. I initially wanted to attend a bible study at my church, but my work schedule conflicted with the available dates. I am now attending a bible study with Saviors Through Christ on a regular basis and really focusing on what it means to be a man of faith. The bible study leaders do a great job relating faith and scripture to everyday life and the environment is amazing to be around”.
