Our History

Saviors Through Christ was created by active law enforcement and military veterans. Law Enforcement Officers, Firefighters, and members of the Emergency Medical System put their lives on the line every day they go to work. To many, they are the saviors of their communities. They run towards the fight, towards the fire, and towards the life-or-death situations when everyone else runs away. But, only through the power of the true, one and only Savior, Jesus Christ, is their safety and success possible.  

As a first responder, you are subject to high stress situations and mental trauma almost daily. It is common to put your health, be it mental, physical, or spiritual, on the back burner. We believe this, in part, has caused suicide and infidelity rates for first responders to be among the highest in any career. For many first responders, church and/or bible study is a primary outlet to cope with or heal the wounds that emerge from the distressing experiences encountered on the job. Unfortunately, it isn’t always easy to complete this basic need. Due to rotating schedules and mandated overtime, first responders often find themselves unable to attend church or commit to a bible study. 

At Saviors Through Christ, our goal is to make small bible study groups easily accessible to first responders, provide them with an outlet to cope with and decompress from the trauma and stress, and encourage them to incorporate their faith into the work they do every day. It is our belief that if these needs are met, we will drastically change the lives of our first responders. Through the hard work from our employees, volunteers, and the generous donations from the community, we work together as a team to make these goals become reality.
